Hello lovelies, here is the second instalment of my one brand, one week dedication posts. Besides brows, I'm pretty sure a lot of you will agree that Benefit Cosmetics are the queens of eyes, particularly mascara. I've been lucky enough to test out all three of the mascaras Benefit offer and they are all very different and each have their own benefits. As you probably all know Roller Lash definitely wins this battle hands down for me but we all have different eye shapes and lash lengths so if you haven't tried any of the Benefit mascaras before then here is a compare and contrast of the positives and negatives of each.
I like this mascara but I don't love it. Nothing about it makes me go crazy and jump for joy. It adds a decent length to the lashes, it doesn't clump and it is fairly long lasting but something about this just doesn't have that 'wow' factor for me. One thing I will say however is I do like the brush for this, as it is so thick you don't have to apply many coats to create a decent lash length with this. This mascara is definitely buildable if you want to create a dramatic thick set of lashes. You can buy BADgal lash for £17.50 here
Overall Rating? 7/10
I DON'T SEE THE HYPE. Seriously, I just can't. I really like this mascara for lengthening my bottom lashes, it helps to separate them and leave my eyes look more 'open' however I just don't think it does anything at all to my top lashes. It lengthens yes but because it doesn't curl my eyelashes look like they are drooping rather than lifted which is a real shame. I haven't ever applied this with an eyelash curler actually so if you have any tips on how you get this mascara to create lashes that make everyone go 'WOW'. Then let me know because I'd love to understand this hype. You can purchase They're Real for £19.50 here

Now this is the kind of mascara that gets me talking. This mascara just has it all it lifts, curls, lengthens and lasts brilliantly with and without an eyelash primer. I don't even curl my eyelashes prior to application, the curved brush just works it's curly magic as you apply. I don't think the camera even does justice as to how amazing this mascara actually is, ever since it was released genuinely nothing else has been able to compare!! But I don't want to keep spending £19.50 on a mascara each time it runs out so if you have any really good dupes let me know! The way this curls as well also adds a really lovely 'flutter' to my lashes which I think just looks so natural and girly. Definitely a must have in any girls make-up collection. On the downside however, this mascara does clump my lashes quite a bit but hey I guess nothing can be perfect right? You can purchase Roller Lash for £19.50 here
Overall rating? 9/10
So I hope you liked this post lovelies, I'm sorry for seeming a little harsh with my reviews but I am an absolute perfectionist when it comes to mascara especially since the anticipated release of Roller Lash earlier in the year my expectations have just become super high. I'll be posting a make-up look on Friday featuring only Benefit products including the entirety of my Benefit collection so stay tuned for that! Until next time,
QUESTION OF THE DAY
When you apply your mascara, do you have a mascara 'derp' face that you just naturally pull? Mine is ridiculous I sometimes don't even realise I'm doing it!!

Please excuse the state of my eyebrows, I'm currently in the process of growing them out so they look awful I know!!

They're Real Mascara is my favorite go-to everyday mascara. I love it because it literally makes my lashes grow and I can tell the difference when I stop using it. I have yet to try Roller Lash but I really want to. Great job with the pictures! They really demonstrated each mascara well. It's crazy the difference between the three :) xx
