What You Will Need:
- Cake Mixture
- 1 Egg
- Cake pop moulds
- Cake pop kit for the sticks. (I purchased mine from Tesco it came with the sticks, labels, ties and wrapping!)
- Dark Chocolate
- Any toppings of your choice
How to Make:
- Pre-heat your oven to Gas Mark 5.
- Mix into a bowl your cake mixture, 1 egg and 4 teaspoons of water to create the batter.
- Once you have reached a creamy consistency place the mixture into your cake pop moulds. (The side without the holes!)
- Pop the mould into place and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Once cooked, leave to cool for 5 minutes.
- Whilst they cool, place your chocolate into a bowl. Pour cold water into a pan and place onto a stove to boil. Place the chocolate bowl on top of the pan to melt the chocolate as the water boils.
- Once melted, dip one side of your cake pop sticks into the chocolate then place into the cake pop (whilst still in the mould) at around 2/3 of the way through.
- Place in the fridge to harden so the stick stays in place on the cake pop.
- Once cooled, pop your cake pops out of the mould from the bottom in order to avoid breakage. Then cover in chocolate and sprinkles and leave to cool.
- Add your finishing touches; labels, ties, wrappers or anything else you prefer and voila!
- Eat and enjoy!
These make for such cute Easter presents as the thought is there you decided to make your own little egg for them from scratch rather than do the easy thing and head to the shops.
I hope you liked this post lovelies, if you recreate these or have created some of your own in the past do let me know in the comments down below I'd love to see them. I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend dears! Until next time..

DeleteThese look so lovely - what a cute idea :) I won't be having any chocolate for Easter though - having dental issues at the worst possible time of year! Maybe I can bear this in mind to try when I'm fixed haha xx
