5 Goals To Complete Before 2017

Monday, October 17, 2016

According to howlongagogo.com, as I am writing this there are currently 2 months, 16 days, 13 hours and 22 minutes until January 1st 2017. Now that isn't a strenuous amount of time to complete any far reaching goals, however I find that setting myself small targets as often as I possibly can is the best way to review my progress and help larger goals seem far more achievable in the long run.
Read on to discover how I plan on completing my 2016...

Reach 600 Bloglovin' followers
Of course I had to begin with the typical follower boosting goal. I currently have 556 followers and so 44 more in 10 weeks is plausible right?! I'd love to reach 2,000 on Twitter although I think 657 new followers would be a little far reaching before the new year.

Secure a placement/internship
Next summer, I'm hoping to take a year out from my university course to work as a fashion marketing intern. I've currently hit the ball rolling as employers begin dropping into university each week to share the roles that they have on offer for the year. It would be amazing to say I've managed to secure one by Christmas and then I'll be able to just completely focus on uni work for the rest of the year. Fingers crossed!!

Produce more fashion/lifestyle content
October to December is truly the most exciting time of the year for me. With the number of festivities on offer this year, I'm hoping to get out there and produce some amazing fashion shots for you all in some really cool locations.

Attend a blogging event
I've been blogging for more than 2 years now and I am still yet to attend an event. Unfortunately 95% of the time they are held in London which unfortunately for me the travel expenses make it impossible for me to get too. If you know of any being held in Manchester during the Christmas period though then hit me up!

Learn a new skill
Whether that be becoming a baking expert (beauty or cooking... interpret as you will!), getting to grips with a few more photography/camera techniques or learning a little bit more about coding; I want to be able to say that by the end of this year I've learnt something a little extra over the next 11 weeks.

And so that is my final set of goals for 2016. Can you believe that the next time I'm back here and keeping you informed of my targets that we'll all be setting ourselves new year's resolutions?! This year has just flown by!
Until next time,

Do you have any end of year goals?!
